Ruby May comes of age.
The offspring of a rock star may well know the feeling of living in the shadows. My parents are a good deal less famous though, and I really don’t mind being associated with the pair of good hearted eccentrics that they are. I like being me as well, and I used to wonder where I fitted in all of this stuff. Scatterbrained, unfocussed, a daydreamer for sure is me. Comments like that coming from those teaching me usually questioned how I could expect to make anything of my life without changing my ways. I haven’t done as yet and probably never will. After all, it doesn’t bother anyone that matters to me. Here then is some of what I have made of life so you can make your own mind up. Click on book to buy your copy (Paperback or Kindle)
The main Character. Clearly there is only one. The unique Ruby May (Or May, as she prefers to be known) may feel like she drifts through life, but the truth is far from that. We follow her from early adulthood through to several years to the realisation that maybe drifting isn't so bad a thing.
Others. I usually list traits etc, but in this book, that spans a far longer time period than others, I will let the new people in May's life reveal themselves to you as you read. Of course there are the established stalwarts like Jim, Amanda, Linda, Masie, Emily and Deborah plus the crowd from Bank Top, but this is May's tale for her to tell.
